Parking EnforcementParking Division is staffed with three full time employees, and helped by 34 crossing guards. The crossing guards primary responsibility is provide additional assistance for elementary aged children in crossing busy intersections. 34 crossing guards are currently assigned to 20 intersections throughout Columbus.

Parking tickets can be paid anytime at the Columbus Police Department or a yellow drop box is available on the northeast corner of 4th Street and Washington Street, next to Max's Jewelry. The yellow drop box is checked regularly by one of the two, full time meter officers.

Parking spaces can be rented monthly or annually from one of the four City owned lots by calling the parking Division at 376-2652.
