Compliment an Employee

The civilian employees and police officers of the Columbus Police Department are committed to protecting the community and providing excellent service. We are committed to making Columbus a safer city and the Columbus Police Department a better police agency. Have you received exceptional service or assistance beyond the call of duty from our police or civilian members? We would like to hear from you about this performance. Please send us an e-mail about what happened and give us the employees name if you know it.

If you don't know the officer's name or badge number, please provide the date, time, location and circumstances of the incident. If you have the incident number, please include it. Efforts will be made to identify the officer(s) involved.

We thank you for your time in sending us a compliment and welcome your input or suggestions to ensure we are meeting the needs of the community. If you have ideas how CPD can assist in improving community safety or deliver quality service to the community send us a message. Your feedback is important to us and always encouraged.

*This form is NOT to be used as a complaint form. If someone is interested in complaining about an employee, please visit the Columbus Police Department and speak with a supervisor. If a complaint is received using this form, it will be rejected.
